Wrong-Way Accident In Rancho Cucamonga Leaves 3 Dead And 2 Injured

Reports of a wrong-way driver on the 210 Freeway in Rancho Cucamonga ends in a deadly head-on collision early Sunday morning.  California Highway Patrol received multiple calls about a male driver speeding and swerving in the wrong eastbound lane just before the accident occurred.  CHP units started to get in position to intercept the suspected drunk wrong-way driver but had arrived to see that he had already collided with another vehicle.

The wrong-way driver was killed on impact police stated, he was identified as 28-year-old Mack Jaramillo of La Habra.  The driver and passenger of the other vehicle both survived but were taken to Loma Linda University Medical Center for their injuries.  The two back-seat passengers however were killed on impact.  All four victims were related to one another and were attending a family gathering just before the accident occurred.  Falguni Shah, 38, and Veena Shah, 52, were both visiting from London.

Two Ontario Teens Killed In Rollover Crash

A deadly car accident in Ontario leaves two Chino High School students dead late Thursday night.  The vehicle was operated by an unlicensed male with an 18-year-old passenger and two female passengers.  The accident took place near the South Grove Avenue and East Airport Drive intersection, both males were also sustained injuries from the accident.

The SUV was heading North on Grove Avenue at a high rate of speed when the driver lost control, veered across the center median, and crashed into a wall.  The two females Chino High School students were pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.

San Bernardino County coroner’s office identified one girl as 16-year-old Valerie Zavala of Ontario.  The name of the other teen was not released but classmates identified her as Julie Salas.

The identity of the driver and male passenger involved in the car accident have not yet been released but we are told that they attended different schools.  Both were transported to a local hospital where they are said to be in stable condition.

Authorities are now investigated what caused this tragic accident and if drugs or alcohol were involved.

Deadly Car Accident Leaves Young Fontana Girl Dead and 2 Injuried

Around 12:00 p.m. Fontana Police responded to a report of a car accident involving two vehicles with a little girl seriously injured.  The one-year-old girl who was identified as Emma Van Buren, was in the rear passenger seat sitting in a car seat when the accident occurred.  She was ejected from the 2007 Pontiac Grand Prix and sustained severe head and chest trauma.  Paramedics transported her to Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in Fontana, sadly she passed away a few hours later.

The accident involved two vehicles and occurred at the intersection of Foothill Boulevard and Hemlock Avenue.  A 24 year-old who was driving the Pontiac apparently tried to make a right turn on Hemlock Avenue but failed to see a vehicle already in the lane.  A 2007 Chevrolet crashed into the passenger side of the Pontiac, the driver of the pontiac suffered major head trauma and a fractured skull.  The 51- year-old man driving the Chevrolet sustained minor back and leg injuries.
